Welcome To Canada Syrian Refugees
This video made me cry. My kids have sung this song at Sunday school. It was sung to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings me upon him) when they sought refuge in Medinah. I can’t imagine such a display taking place today in America where parents go off the deep end if their child has an assignment that mentions Islam. Here- you have school children that not only learned an ancient, Islamic song – they belted it out for the Syrian refugees that have come to their country for refuge – belted it out like I’ve never heard before. What an example you have set for humanity, Canada! Proud to call you my neighbor to the north. I hope we can all learn lessons from your example. Thank you to Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau (seen welcoming refugees in the photo above), for giving Muslims in North America HOPE.
