Bawb And The Friends On Yahala Voice

Honored to have been a guest on Bawb and the Friends, an awesome radio show on Yahalavoice.com.  Bawb, or as I affectionately call him, “B,” is my dear friend who happens to be a self-described “recovering Islamophobe.”  We have gone through a great journey together through sharing dialogue, food and fun times within our interfaith communities but also in our activism community that is simply being part of the human race and choosing to get along, learn from each other and inspire one another.

Thank you, B, for having me on your show along with Lisa Kosowski of Jewish Voice for Peace as we prepared for a panel we sat on a few days after this show aired. The panel was entitled: Islamophobia: A Threat To Us All.  The 3 of us answered some difficult questions about Islamophobia to a roomfull of people of all faiths – in hopes that we could shed light on this important struggle and inspire discussion. It was an amazing event that I hope to blog about on the HuffPost in the coming week. #UniteAgainstIslamophobia
