Pray for Turkey

What does terrorism achieve? It achieves nothing. It is not “radical Islam.” It is radical politics. How does terrorism forward any religion? It doesn’t. Who are the victims? Mostly Muslim.

After spending a week in Turkey learning about the vast threat of terrorism from multiple political factions from the east to the west, this is not shocking. But it is depressing. Sobering.

Turkish people are so tough and resilient. They literally face this problem in stride. They are an ancient, beautiful culture. They don’t deserve this. No one does.

Last 10 nights of Ramadan. May all the victims be shaheed. ameen. ;(
