✨ Cover Reveal: Where the Mountains Raised Me ✨
I’ve been waiting a long time to write this post — thirty years, if I’m honest. Today, I finally get to share the full cover of my memoir, Where the Mountains Raised Me, with all of you.
This book has lived inside me since childhood. It’s the story of my family, our Balkan roots, the histories that shaped us, and the ways those stories traveled across oceans and generations to land in my own life. For decades, I carried it quietly. Now, it’s becoming something I can hold in my hands — and soon, something you can hold too.
📘 Release Date: February 1 (or sooner!)
The official release date is February 1, but depending on how quickly everything moves through review, it may go live even earlier. I’ll keep you posted as we get closer.
📚 Available in Multiple Formats
I wanted this book to meet readers wherever they are, so it will be available in:
- Paperback
- Hardcover
- eBook
- (And hopefully) Audiobook — I’m exploring options for that next
- Bulgarian Translation — my relatives in Bulgaria have already asked, and I’m excited to make that happen in the future
Seeing this story reach across languages feels especially meaningful.
📦 Author Copies Are on the Way
I ordered my author review copies today, and they’ll arrive in just a few days. I can’t even describe what it will feel like to open that package — to see my family’s story bound, printed, and real. I’ve imagined that moment for most of my life. Soon, it won’t be imagination anymore.
🌿 A Dream Three Decades in the Making
This book is more than a project. It’s a promise I made to myself when I was young — that one day, I would write down the stories that shaped me. That I would honor where we came from. That I would give voice to the things we carried.
Today’s cover reveal is one of those rare moments where a dream and reality finally touch.
Thank you for being here with me. Thank you for reading, supporting, and witnessing this milestone. I can’t wait to share more as we move toward launch day.
